Alfonso C Domingo

Alfonso C. Domingo, 84yo, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024 in Saddle River, New Jersey. He was born on August 5, 1939 in Philippines to Fortunato and Alfonza Domingo.

Alfonso C. Domingo was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be remembered for his devotion to Jesus Christ, his kindness, patience, compassion, his unwavering dedication to his family, and his love for singing, dancing, sports, world travel and fishing.

Throughout his life, Alfonso C. Domingo touched the hearts of many with his singing and dancing, enormous kindness to all, and infectious smile and laugh. He often shared many candid stories of his experiences of growing up in many towns of the Philippines early in his life. In 1969, he immigrated from the Philippines to the United States with his wife, Felicidad and daughter, Marie, Alfonso loving raised his family in Queens, New York. He had a long career on Wall Street and also enjoyed many ventures involving sales.

Alfonso is survived by his wife, Felicidad, daughter Marie Domingo, three grandchildren Victoria, Nicholas and Louis Jr. (Quartararo), his sisters, Rose Marie (de Guzman), Milagros (Paquiz), Gloria Paz (Pearson), Virgina (Meek), Marie Anne (Santo Domingo). He was preceded in death by his parents, Fortunato and Alfonza, his sister, Veronica (Foronda), and his brothers, Ernesto Domingo, Manuel Domingo and Narciso Domingo.

In his spare time, Alfonso enjoyed singing, dancing, playing the piano, fishing, traveling, fine dining and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

A Funeral Mass will be held in honor of Alfonso C. Domingo on April 2, 2024 at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Ramsey, NJ at 10am. All friends and family are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
