Evelyn Intermaggio

WANAQUE - Evelyn Marie Intermaggio, born in White Plains, New York, passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 78. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones in her final moments.

Evelyn graduated St. Johns High School then attended Caldwell College. After graduation, she began her career with Eastern Arilines as a stewardess, later putting it on hold to raise three sons until she returned and worked her way up to management in Pan Am and ultimately Delta until her retirement. She was a dedicated and beloved member of the Delta Airlines team, known for her wit, warm smile, and kind heart.

Evelyn was a devoted wife to her husband Joseph, with whom she shared many happy years of marriage. She was also a loving mother to her three sons, Jim, Joe, and John. Her family was the center of her life, and she always put their needs before her own. She will be deeply missed by her husband, sons, and all who knew her.
Sadly, Evelyn was preceded in death by her sister Mary Ellen, who passed away on February 4th, 2021. The loss of her sister was a difficult time for Evelyn, but she found strength and comfort in her family and friends.

Evelyn will be remembered for her thoughtful and gentle nature, sense of humor, and her unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
