Anne Ozegovich (nee. Tanajewski), 70, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. Born in Brooklyn, NY, where Anne resided before moving to Virginia Beach 28 years ago.
She was a Buyer for Navy Exchange Service Commend (NEXCOM) for 38 years, 13 years in Brooklyn before relocating to Virginia Beach in 1993 until her retirement in 2018.
Anne loved her St. Nicholas church family and her NEXCOM friends. The beach was her solace. She enjoyed trips to NJ to visit with her extended family, she was always the life of the party. In her free time Annie loved to prepare gourmet meals.
She is survived by her loving children Mark Ozegovich and Kim Ozegovich, both of Virginia Beach, her devoted siblings: brother James Tanajewski and sister-in-law Geri of Ringwood, NJ, sister Janet Grennan and brother-in-law Matthew of Ringwood, NJ and sister Joyce Toohey of Gaithersburg, MD, many adoring nieces, nephews and great-nieces & nephews.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Anne’s life will be 10:30am on Monday, March 1 at the St. Catherine of Bologna Church, 112 Erskine Road, Ringwood, NJ 07456. Burial will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes. Both services will be live streamed for those who cannot attend in person.
