Arlene N Capicotto

Arlene Capicotto, 87, of Hawthorne NJ (formally from Monroe Township, NJ) passed away on Wednesday November 27, 2024 surrounded by her family and friends. Born and raised in Marine Park Brooklyn, NY. Arlene was always in service to community and others, their pets, the “snowbirds” homes and their plants.

Everywhere that Arlene went she was always in the company of her chihuahua Nikki. Arlene’s smile & Nikki would light up the room everywhere they went. She loved her besties; Kathy, & Mickey, known as the three Musketeers and Ambassadors at Van Dyk Assisted Living.

Loving mother of Laurence Conway and his wife Susan, daughter Suzy Brown and predeceased son & daughter Richard Conway and Debra Moore. Loving grandmother of Nicole, (predeceased grandson Nicholas), Tyler, Christopher, Brendan, Caitlin and great granddaughter Violet.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday December 4, 2024, 4-7pm at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ 07481.  A funeral prayer service is planned at 5pm.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Arlene may be made to  St Jude Children's Research Hospital  stjude.org or your local ASPCA or pet shelter.
