Ashley Marie LoVecchio went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 3, 2025. Born on April 28, 1983, in Ridgewood, NJ, Ashley had a generous spirit and a deep love for life.
She cherished volunteering, especially at local horse stables, and found peace and purpose in attending spiritual services. She loved fashion, creativity, and the simple joy of spending time with her family. Ashley had a heart of gold and a kindness that touched everyone blessed enough to know her.
Ashley was the firecracker of our family, the one who brought life, energy, and joy wherever she went. She was crafty, street-smart, and incredibly resourceful. If something needed to get done, Ashley would find a way—whether it was for family, a friend, or even someone she barely knew. Her determination was one of her greatest qualities; she was a fighter through and through. And if life pushed her, she pushed back even harder.
Her warmth, her wit, and her unmistakable presence made every room brighter. She lit up the world with her big, beautiful smile and her contagious energy. Around her nieces and nephews, she shone even more—playful, goofy, and full of childlike wonder, because in so many ways, Ashley’s spirit carried the joy of a child’s heart. She loved deeply, laughed loudly, and lived boldly.
She is survived by her parents, Raymond LoVecchio and Georgia Rasa; her stepmother, Barbara; her sisters, Jennifer Kordja (husband Luis), Lauren Porter (husband Brandon), and Christina Bonanni (husband Kevin); her brother, Anthony LoVecchio (wife Olivia); and her cherished nephews, nieces, and cousins. Two people held a very special place in her heart and loved her deeply: her Uncle Larry and Aunt Lori.
Ashley’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her life, though shortened, was a gift beyond measure. She left this world far too soon, but she left it brighter because she was here. Her love, her compassion, and her beautiful spirit remain with us always, a lasting imprint on the hearts she touched.
“Those we love never truly leave us; they live on in the kindness they showed, the love they gave, and the light they brought into our lives.”
Ashley was laid to rest at Maryrest Mausoleum in Mahwah, New Jersey.
