Barbara Trentham

Barbara Trentham, 87, of Glen Rock, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.  Born in Brooklyn, she has lived in Glen Rock since 1998.

She was an Executive Administrator for the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers in Jersey City until she retired in 2014.

Barbara is survived by her children, Gregg (Diane) Trentham and Leslie (Tony) D’Amato, her 7 grandchildren: Michael, Kristin, Caitlin, Kelly, Meaghan, Diana, and Anthony, and her 5 great grandchildren: Leah, William, Emma, Silas, and Christopher.  She is also survived by her sister Mary Cognato.

She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Robert in 2002.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3:30 pm on Saturday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home,  www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. 

A funeral Service will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home.  

Cremation will be private.
