Barbara J. Walker

Barbara J. Walker passed away at her home in Wyckoff on February 17, 2021 with her devoted husband Jack by her side after losing her courageous battle with cancer. Barbara and Jack shared an amazing life together. They were a very blessed couple for 50 years. Thank God for their life together and granting Jack to be by her side for her final breath.

Barbara was always the eager and enthusiastic passenger on the back of Jack’s Harley since 1973. Whether riding just as a couple or riding with the Nam Knights Motorcycle Club and others, Barbara was happy just to be with Jack.

Barbara was a true people person. She always had a beautiful smile and kind words to all. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Barbara was born on September 26, 1948 in the town of Eldora, Iowa. She is survived by her devoted husband Jack of Wyckoff, her loving sister Nancy Sebranek and her husband, Doug, her brother-in-law Glenn Walker and his wife, Laurie. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Amy Brackett, of Florida, Tara and Jeremy Miller, of Iowa, Ryan and Carey Ertz, of Nebraska, Raymond Holder and Brittany Holder, of Iowa.

Barbara is predeceased by her mother and father, Wayne and Beth Holder, her younger brother, Kevin Holder USMC, and half-brother, Larry Holder USMC.

Barbara previously worked for International Wire, Wyckoff, from 1977 until their closing in 1985 and then for Precision Motor Controls, Midland Park, for 25 years until her retirement.

Heartfelt thanks to Valley Hospice and the entire staff for their devotion to Barbara and to Barbara's doctors and their staff.
