Carol A. Rice

Carol Rice of Waldwick, NJ passed away on March 27, 2024.  She was 70.

Carol was born on June 19, 1953, in Poughkeepsie, NY, the daughter of Joseph A. Rice and Katharine W. Rice.

She grew up in Fishkill, NY and Chappaqua, NY before moving to Wyckoff, NJ.

Carol came into our world with disabilities that required life-long special needs care.  But even with those challenges, she possessed remarkable God-given gifts of a gentle spirit and an ability to connect in friendship that touched so many people who loved and cared for her.

She is survived by her brother Walter Rice, Wallkill, NY; brother Philip Rice and sister-in-law Joanne Hickey, Ossining, NY; brother Alan Rice and sister-in-law Holly Wescott, Ashfield, MA; and nephew Gavan Rice, Shrewsbury, MA.

A private celebration of Carol’s life will be held later this year in Milford, PA.
