Carolyn Nacion

Carolyn Nacion, 88 years old, a long time resident of both Fair Lawn, NJ and Hudson, FL, and more recently of Waldwick, NJ, passed away peacefully during her sleep on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.  Carolyn Nacion was married to her loving husband Arthur Nacion for over 55 years, until he passed away in December, 2009.  Devoted  mother of Douglas Nacion and his wife Jacqueline Brand-Nacion of Waldwick, NJ, and Glenn Nacion and his wife Deena Schreiber-Nacion of Wyckoff, NJ.  Loving grandmother to Stephen Nacion and his wife Claire Rolling-Nacion, Nicholas and Jennifer Nacion.  Great grandmother to Liliana Rose Nacion.  

While raising two sons and supporting all their extracurricular activities, Carolyn was employed by Kalkstein Silk Mills, Paterson, NJ for over 30 years before retiring and moving to Florida in 1992 with her loving husband.  During her employment at Kalkstein Silk Mills, she received many promotional opportunities and held many positions, including Executive Assistant.  Before moving to Florida, Carolyn Nacion was an active and long time member of Arcola Methodist Church, Paramus, NJ, which is also where she married the love of her life on August 14, 1954.  She was also a devoted wife, loving mother and along with her husband valued family first and foremost.  In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards with all of her New Jersey and Florida friends.  She will be missed by many.
