Catherine R Keane

Catherine Keane, 95 of Township of Washington, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Born in New York City, Catherine lived in Manhattan before moving to the Township of Washington 45 years ago.

Catherine was a medical assistant for Dr. Mark Goldfarb in River Edge until she retired in 2020 at the age of 91.

Catherine is survived by her daughters Catherine and Maureen, her 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Thomas A. Keane in 1989.

Visiting hours are 2 to 5 on Sunday, June 8 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home,  www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Monday at the St. Elizabeth’s RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff.  Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Catherine’s memory can be made to the St. Jude Tribute Program or the Wounded Warrior Project.
