Chuy Kion Chor

Chuy Kion Chor, 71 of Clifton, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025.  Born in China, she lived in Paterson and Wyckoff before moving to Clifton 15 years ago.  Chuy Kion is a loving mother to Pekleng Hom and Arnold Chor and his wife Balkis.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 21 years, Eddy in 2000.  

She and her husband Eddy began their journey in a family business serving the Paterson community in 1981.  After the passing of her beloved husband in 2000, she continued their legacy with great perseverance and true grit to uphold her household with daughter (age 20) and son (age 12) in tow.  With a great sense of responsibility, duty, and care to her business, she had the pleasure in participating in the memories and gatherings of her patrons in the milestones of their lives through her food.

Chuy Kion’s visiting hours are from 9:00 to 11:00am on Thursday, June 5 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home located at 257 Godwin Avenue in Wyckoff, NJ.   www.vpfh.com, 

A Funeral Service will be celebrated 11:00am on Thursday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home. 

Interment will follow at the Redeemer Cemetery in Mahwah.
