Clara Ines "Clarita" Velasco

Clara Ines “Clarita” Velasco, 73, of Upper Saddle River, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021.  Born in Colombia, Clarita lived in Waldwick before moving to Upper Saddle River.

She was a parishioner of St. Luke’s Church in Ho-Ho-Kus.

Clarita is survived by her daughter Carolina and her husband Rick, her grandchildren: Santiago and Isabella Garzon and her sisters Myriam and husband Hugo Babij and Elisa and her husband Ronald Arment and numerous niece, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.   

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 9:00pm on Monday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. 

A Funeral Mass celebrating Clarita’s life is 10:00am on Tuesday at the St. Luke’s Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ.

Inunrment will follow at the St. Luke’s Church Cemetery.
