Cristina M. Pisani

Pisani, Cristina, age 91 died on Monday August 1st, 2022. Born in Bronx, NY, she was a resident of Union City until moving to Mahwah 21 years ago. Cristina was the owner and operator of her family’s business, Cristina’s Pizzeria in Union City, NJ from 1937-1997. Cristina also worked in the Union City Board of Education for 15 years until her retirement. She is survived by her sister, Stella (nee Moscatelli) of Little Silver, her sons Andrew D. of Lyndhurst, Robert V. and his wife Geradine of Ramsey, and her daughter Dianne M. of Franklin Lakes. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Dania Clendening and her husband Alpheus, Dominique Nunez, and Victoria and Rachel Pisani, and her great-granddaughter Navy Royce Clendening. Visitation is on Thursday August 4th from 4pm-8pm at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ. Celebratory Mass will be on August 5th, at 12:30pm at St. Paul’s RC Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave, Ramsey, NJ. Mass will also be streaming LIVE on St. Paul’s RC Church website at https://www.stpaulrcchurch.org on Friday August 5th at 12:30 pm.
