Daniel Henry Obituary

Daniel Joseph Henry, lovingly known as Danny, was a remarkable man whose devotion to family and friends was truly unparalleled. Born in New York City, he grew up in Paramus, NJ, with his parents, Walter and Rita Henry, and his brother, Michael.

Danny proudly graduated from Bergen Catholic High School and the University of Dayton, where he was an engaged member of the Delta Gamma Omega fraternity. He married the love of his life, Bobbie, in Bogota, NJ, and together they built a life rich with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

Danny enjoyed a distinguished 30-year career at Ethicon Inc., where he rose to the position of divisional manager. His professional journey continued at KCI and as a consultant with Novartis Animal Health. Later, he founded DJ Associates, where he thrived as an interview coach, empowering countless individuals to achieve their professional aspirations.

Danny’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Bobbie; their children, Colleen (Hugh) Burgin, Tim (Mary Beth) Henry, and Erin (Mark) Butler; and his treasured 11 grandchildren, Grace, Maeve, Henry, Connor, Jack, Colin, Bridie, Alice, Sean, Reese, and Luca.

A master connector, Danny possessed a genuine curiosity about others and formed deep bonds with everyone he met. His passion for giving back was evident in his acts of kindness, from delivering food to those in need to supporting his cherished charity, Several Sources. An avid traveler, he relished exploring new places and engaging with new people.

Danny faced his five-year battle with appendix cancer with incredible strength and resilience, inspiring all who knew him.
