Daras McCormick

Daras McCormick (nee: Sebest) passed peacefully, in her sleep, on Friday, June 27, 2025 at age 93. She was born to her parents, Frank and Anna, in Cliffside Park, NJ and is predeceased by her siblings, brothers, Joe and Frank and sisters, Helen and Ann. She lived most of her adult life in Mahwah, NJ.

Daras is survived by her loving husband, George and many loving nieces and nephews.

Daras worked at Ford Motor Co and then for many years as an executive assistant for IBM.

She enjoyed spending time with her husband, George, in Atlantic City NJ. and was an avid sports fan. Her favorite teams to follow were the NY Football Giants and the NY Yankees. Daras also loved playing sports. She was a competitive bowler and also enjoyed tennis and golf occasionally. She loved music. Daras and George were great dance partners in life and on the dance floor!

 A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 2, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 47 Island Road, Mahwah, NJ.  

Entombment will follow at the Garden of Memories in the Township of Washington.
