David Anema, 48, of Hawthorne, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Born in Ridgewood and lived in Midland Park before moving to Hawthorne 11 years ago.
David was a fork lift operator for Athenia Masonry Supply in Clifton, and enjoyed going to his son’s baseball games.
He is survived by his son Billy, his step-son Jacob Lucas, his parents Albert and Kathleen Anema, his siblings, Carol Knorr and her husband Jeff, Mark Anema and his wife Jennifer, and Kristin Blackshear and her husband Stevyn, and his 7 loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8pm on Tuesday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday at the Bridgeway Community Church, 381 Haledon Ave, Haledon, NJ. Cremation will be private.
