David C. Schuster

David Charles Schuster, age 80, of Hawthorne, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025. Born on January 12, 1945, in New York City, David lived a full and joyful life defined by love, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to those he held dear. Whether relaxing with the dogs by his side, reading a good book, or enjoying time on the golf course, David embraced the everyday with grace and gratitude.

David’s greatest pride was his family—his beloved wife of 56 years, Nancy, who together they enjoyed the simple things in life with family being their greatest blessing: David and his wife Jamie, Dana and her husband Andrew Wilmot, his six grandchildren Drew, Alexander, Carter, William, Lily, and Scarlett, and his many dogs.  

He had a soft heart and was a giver, always putting others before himself. With his sparkling blue eyes, movie-star style, and ever-present smile, David lit up every room he entered. His warmth, humor, and boundless love will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
