David Woodall Obituary


David Neil Woodall, 89, a long time resident  of Mahwah passed away on Saturday , December 4,2021.Born in England on September 17,1932 and raised in Wallasey, England, he proudly served with the Royal Air Force where he worked on fighter planes .Active throughout his life, David was a semi-pro Rugby player with Liverpool and enjoyed playing squash. After immigrating to the United States in 1960 he lived in NYC YMCA before moving to Mahwah where he resided for 55 years. David enjoyed watching Wimbledon and racing
His long and successful career included an executive position with Unilever in England ,Vice -President with Nortech in Midland Park for 25 years
 and Vice President of D&C Fuel in Englewood for 15 years until his retirement.
Beloved husband of Carolyn (DeCanio) Woodall .Loving and devoted father of Geoff Woodall and his wife Laurie. Cherished grandfather of Calvin ,Natalie, Colin and Colby Woodall .Dear brother of the late Michael Woodall and his late wife Brenda.
The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 3-7pm at the funeral home .A funeral service is planned for Thursday 10am at the funeral home .Interment to follow at Redeemer Cemetery, Mahwah,NJ
