Debra A (Voellmy) Anderson

Debra A. Anderson (nee Voellmy) age 74 of Paramus died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, September 3, 2021. Born in Paterson, Debbie lived in Fair Lawn, Wyckoff and Ridgefield Park before moving to Paramus more than 40 years ago.

She was a 1965 graduate of Ramapo High School. In 1968 she graduated from Hackensack Hospital School of Nursing and worked at the Hospital until starting her family. In her later career she worked for Kramer Chiropractic in Glen Rock for over 15 years.

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Richard Anderson, Jr., her loving children, Wendy Anderson, Christie Anderson, Richard III and Timothy and his wife Sabina. Debbie was the cherished grandmother of Mackenzie and Delaney Lalor and Jace Anderson. She also leaves her sisters Candace and her husband Thomas Welch and Sherryl and her husband Joseph Piroso.

Debbie devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and sisters. She was like a second mother to many and will be deeply missed by all.

The Anderson family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 8,  2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 9, 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
