Doris M. Moller

Doris Marion Moller, of Toms River, formerly of Midland Park, passed away peacefully at Care One at Wall on Saturday, February 20, 2021.  She was 91 years old.  Doris was born to Valentino Barsocchi and Mammie Anastasio of Union City, NJ in November of 1929.  She attended Emerson High School in Union City and was employed by Yardley of London Co. Union City upon graduation.

Doris married Robert H. Moller in 1951 and lived in Union City until they moved to Midland Park in 1962 to raise their family.  Doris was a dedicated homemaker to their three daughters until she and Robert retired and moved to Palmetto, Florida in 1990. Years later, after Robert's passing, Doris returned back to NJ to be closer to her family.  

Surviving are her daughters, Cheryl Hollema and her husband, Edward.  Deborah Dal Cortivo and her husband Bernard, and Robin Oram and her husband Brian.  Doris is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Edward R. Hollema (Heather), Brian Hollema, Christopher Dal Cortivo (Caraline), Lia Dal Cortivo, Nicholas Dal Cortivo, Wyatt Wells, Victoria Wells, and Samantha Oram and 3 great-grandchildren, Collin, Holly and Liam.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 10am to 12pm at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ, www.vpfh.com,  with a funeral service beginning at 12pm at the funeral home and committal service to follow at George Washington Memorial Park at 1pm.
