Edward P. Benz, Jr.

Edward Benz, 73, of Paramus, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who touched the lives of many with his kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for his family.

Edward was born in Passaic New Jersey and grew up in Clifton New Jersey.  He attended William Paterson University, where he earned a BS in business.  Ed worked for Peugeot Motors of America working his way up to general manager and Chief Operating Officer  

Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Diane; his cherished children, Noelle and Mark, along with Mark’s wife, Shab; and his adored grandchildren, Matthew, Noah, Michael, and Max. He was a pillar of strength and love for his family, always putting them first and filling their lives with laughter and wisdom.

Edward will be remembered for his generous spirit, his sense of humor, and the deep love he had for those around him. His presence will be profoundly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.

Please gather at a service to honor Edward’s life with a funeral mass on Tuesday, April, 1, 2025 11:30AM at The Church of St Elizabeth of Hungary, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
