Kosowicz Jr., Edward, age 71, of Wyckoff, passed away on Sunday, October 4th, 2020. Edward was born in Jamaica Queens, NY and lived in Mahwah until he moved to Wyckoff in the mid-late 80s.
Ed went to Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey and graduated with a B.S. from Fordham University in 1971. Ed worked on Wall Street and then enlisted in the Air Force during the Vietnam War serving as a Disbursement Account Specialist. His professional career included Mergers & Acquisitions for Barclays Bank, Radio Free Europe in Washington D.C. and with a scientific Think Tank related to the Star Wars Program. His love for the Wyckoff community and his engaging personality were a natural fit for his jobs at CVS and Advance Auto Parts.
Ed was one of a kind; a man of many words, full of humor, wise beyond his years and treasured by many.
Edward was predeceased by his beloved wife Linda Kosowicz and his brother John Kosowicz. He is survived by his step-daughter Lindsay Gellatly, his step-son Jonathan Gellatly, his sister Wanda Claes and her husband Adam Claes, his sister-in-law Sue Kosowicz, and his many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 17th, from 2-4pm, with military honors at 3:45pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ.
