Elizabeth R. Logue

Elizabeth R. Logue, 90, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 11, 2021. On September 27, 1952 she married the love of her life Edward “Seamus” Logue. They were devoted to each other for 38 years until his death in October 1990. Together they were blessed with twelve children.

She is survived by nine children: Robert (Kathy) Logue, Anne Marie Logue, Patrick Logue, Kathleen (Jim) Cole, Mary Ellen Wynne and her partner (Jim), Brian (Christine) Logue, Brendan Logue, Peter (Karin) Logue, and Norah Logue. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a sister Mary Derr and a brother Tom (Roberta) McGrory. She was predeceased by sisters Margie, Agnes, Helen and brothers Francis and Henry McGrory. 

Elizabeth was a loving mother, devoted wife, a crusader for justice and an amazing, strong woman of great faith in our Lord. She used her many talents throughout her life by volunteering, leadership and writing. Her life was full of love and she was a blessing to all who crossed her path. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday September 13, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm  at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff. Elizabeth’s funeral  mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Luke’s Catholic Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike,  Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Ho-Ho-Kus. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions  to the  Conway Mill Trust,  P.O. Box 101529, Pittsburgh, PA 15237-  one of Elizabeth’s favorite charities.
