Emma Appaluccio

Emma Appaluccio, 99, of North Haledon, died on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Born in Paterson on July 14, 1923 she lived in Hawthorne before moving to North Haledon 37 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and lmmaculata Trapanese.

She is survived by her daughter Angela Earnshaw and her husband Bill and grandson Gregory from North Haledon along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Henry J. Appaluccio in 1988, her brothers James, Samual, and Alphonse Trapanese sisters Connie Messinio and Evelyn Trapanese.                      

She was a homemaker and took pride in keeping a spotless home. She also loved to cook delicious meals and entertain.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home,  www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am on Friday, at the St. Elizabeth’s RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481. 

Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.
