Faozy Tenn Obituary
Faozy E. "Fred" Tenn passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015. He was 85. Born in Saghbine Lebanon he immigrated to the U.S. in 1952. He was a long time resident of Wyckoff. Fred was a chemist at Nabisco Co., in Fair Lawn before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the YMCA in Wyckoff and Ridgewood and enjoyed cooking, gardening, exercising and swimming. Fred is predeceased by his son Alexander Faozy Tenn. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years Marita U. Tenn, cherished daughter; Tammy Pocsi, her dear husband Joe, beloved grandson Jack Pocsi, four brothers: Michel Tenn, Fouad Tenn, Sam Tenn, and Nabih Tenn, three sisters: Mary Rechwan, Yvonne Abouhammed and Nabiha Rached. Fred is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday in the funeral home and the interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
