Frances K Nathan

Frances Karol Nathan, Fran to everyone who knew and loved her, passed away on January 31, 2024, after a long and courageous fight with congestive heart failure. Sam and Har held her hands as she passed.

Fran was born to Fred and Faye Nathan on June 9, 1947, in Passaic, New Jersey. She felt very blessed to be part of such a loving and caring family, and she was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was the foundation of our family, our continual strength and support. She will be loved and missed forever.

Fran was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Faye, her son Freddie, and her brother Michael. She is survived by her daughter Samantha and son-in-law Harrison; her brother Howard, his wife Jean, and their daughter Carolyn; her brother Robert and his life partner Michelle; her sister Danette; and her godson Nicholas, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff, New Jersey. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 p.m., and a brief service will begin at 4 p.m. We invite anyone who knew her to attend and remember her extraordinary life.
