Frank J. Murphy, Sr.

Frank J. Murphy, Sr., age 86 of Naples, FL, formerly of Wyckoff, NJ, passed away on October 11th,  2020. Frank was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 19th, 1933 to the late John and Rosemary Murphy. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Jack.

Frank was a “man’s man,” devoted to family, friends, and his Catholic faith. He enjoyed camping and outdoor activities. An Operating Engineer in New York City, Frank was also a Volunteer Firefighter in Wyckoff, NJ for 30 years. Upon moving to Naples, Frank became a member of the Knights of Columbus and Saint William’s Parish.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret; sons, Frank Jr. (Patti), Christopher (Hazuki), and John (Christine); former daughter-in-law, Kathy; grandchildren, Maggie, Meredith, Connor, Ryan, Jack, Rose, Erin, John, and Jenna, as well as many friends.

Services will take place in Wyckoff, NJ at a later date. Interment will be at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
