Frank J. Samarro

Frank J. Samarro, Sr., 81, of Wyckoff, NJ, passed away peacefully in the early hours of June 21, 2025.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 59 years, Lorraine Samarro. He was also the proud father of Frank, Jr. and Jonathan Samarro. Frank was delighted to welcome his daughter-in-law, Lori, into the family, along with Lori and Frank, Jr.’s four children: Kathryn, Andrew, Elizabeth, and Michael Samarro.

Frank grew up in Jersey City alongside his brothers, Ronald and George. He attended St. Peter's Prep High School—Class of 1961—where he was known for his prowess on the baseball field. He went on to graduate from Pace University in Manhattan and thereafter began his long career in accounting, ultimately operating his own public accounting firm, Samarro & Associates.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A prayer service will be held on Friday, June 27, 10:30am at the funeral home.  A graveside service and interment will occur at 11:30 am at Christ the King Cemetery, located at 980 Huron Road in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
