It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gertrudes Bautista, who peacefully entered eternal life
with our Lord on November 10, 2025. Gertrudes lived a life marked by love, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to
her family.
Born in the Philippines, Gertrudes along with three small children came to the United States in 1976 to join her
beloved husband, Benjamin Bautista, to build a better life for their family. Together they faced every challenge with
courage and grace, guided by their faith and commitment to one another.
Known affectionately as “Nay” by her children, “Lola” by her grandchildren, and “Tuds” by loved ones, Gertrudes’
greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, exemplary mother, and proud grandmother.
Gertrudes embodied the spirit of hard work, resilience, and unconditional love. She was the heart of every family
gathering, the voice of calm during difficult times, and the quiet strength that held her loved ones together.
Whether through her cooking, her laughter, or her gentle reminders to pray, she made sure everyone around her
felt cared for and supported.
Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled—faith, humility, and deep love for family. Though her physical
presence will be dearly missed, her spirit and teachings will continue to guide her children and grandchildren for
generations to come.
May she live eternally in peace surrounded by love she so freely gave.
