Giacinta “Gina” Tribunella
March 13, 1966 - February 27, 2025
Giacinta Tribunella, known as Gina to all who loved her, passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 58. Born in Brooklyn to Antoinette and Luigi, Gina grew up in Collesano, Sicily. At the age of 18, she moved to the United States to join her father and build a new life.
Gina was the epitome of a nurturer, always caring deeply for everyone in her life. She spent much of her early years caring for children as a nanny, a role that allowed her to pour love and care into others. She found her true love in Steven, and together they had two children, Skylar and Joshua, who became the light of her life and her greatest accomplishment. After Steven's passing, Gina married Frank, continuing her journey with love and commitment.
Throughout her life, Gina faced many challenges, but she was a woman of incredible strength who never gave up. She was resilient and loved fiercely. Family and unity were everything to Gina, and she practiced unconditional love. She believed deeply in coming together, no matter the disagreements, teaching everyone around her the power of reconciliation and the importance of holding onto love.
Gina is survived by her children, Skylar and her fiancé Kenneth, and Joshua and his wife Carly; her parents, Antoinette and Luigi, and his wife, Linda; her brother, Michael, and his wife, Tracy; her sister, Mary Rose; her nieces, Irene, Verdiana, Gioia, and Annalena; her nephew, Giuseppe; her many extended family members and friends who were touched by her love and generosity; and her cherished dog, Gucci, who was a constant source of joy and comfort in her life.
We are deeply grateful to her brother Michael and his wife Tracy, as well as their extended family, who supported Gina throughout the hardest times of her life. Special thanks also go to the loving friends who stood by her, offering care and support during the tough moments.
