Gina (Piscitelli) Alfano

Gina Alfano, age 90, of Wayne, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, September 3, 2021. Born in Paterson, Gina lived in Little Ferry before moving to Wayne 21 years ago. She was an Amateur Radio Operator and enjoyed traveling the United States with her husband George in their Motorhome. Gina loved spending time with her family. One of her greatest joys was being a caregiver to her grandson Michael.

Surviving is her children, Matthew Alfano, Gina Pear, Vincent Marchese, Lily Novack, and Pamela Alfano. She was a grandmother and great-grandmother, loved by her many nieces and nephews. Gina leaves her surviving sisters, Helen Agnone, Madeline Oliver, and Ida DeMarzio. She was pre-deceased by her husband George in 2013 and her brothers Mario Piscitelli, Angelo Piscitelli, Frank Piscitelli, Tony Piscitelli, and sisters Regina Piscitelli and Sadie DeCaprio.

The Alfano’s will receive family and friends on Tuesday, September 7, 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a prayer service at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi.
