Glenis K. Campana

It is with tremendous and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful and wonderful mother and grandmother, Glenis K. Campana, who left us on Friday, July 31st, 2026. Her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit were the foundation of our family, and her loss is felt beyond measure.

Born on April 11th, 1935, in Peckham, London, England, Glenis was the cherished daughter of Archibald and Keturah Anderson. At the age of 20, she bravely journeyed to the United States to join her sisters who had already begun their lives here. She settled in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she soon met Matthew F. Campana, the man who would become her devoted husband. They married on April 13th, 1957, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love, dedication, and family.

Together, Glenis and Matthew built their home and raised their children across several New Jersey communities—Paterson, Wayne, Franklin Lakes, and later Mahwah. Wherever she lived, Glenis created a warm and welcoming home, always filled with love, laughter, and the comforting presence that made her so special.

Glenis is survived by her three loving children: 

Jane E. Borovskis and her husband Paul

Laura J. Campana

and Matthew F. Campana

She is also survived by her four beloved grandchildren Christopher, Olivia, Nicholas, and Alexander each of whom brought immense joy to her life.

We cherish every moment we were blessed to share with our mom and grandmother. Her memory will forever live in our hearts, in the stories we tell, and in the love she gave so freely. 

We will miss her dearly.
