Helene Mastrogiovanni

Helene Mastrogiovanni, 89, of Paramus died on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Born and raised in Hoboken, she has lived in Paramus for the past 59 years.  She was an Executive Secretary for Sultan Dental in Englewood until she finally retired the second time in 2015 at the age of 81.

Helene is survived by her sons John and his wife Patti, Craig and his wife Marge and her beloved grandson Johnny, her brother Joseph along with many nieces and nephews.  Helene was predeceased by her loving husband Carmine in 2004, her brother George Palermo and her sister Irene.

Visiting hours are 4-8 on Tuesday, June 6th, at VanderPlaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, N.J.  A funeral mass will be celebrated 11am on Wednesday at Our Lady of Visitation church, 234 N. Farview Avenue, Paramus, N.J 07652.  Entombment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetary in North Arlington, N.J
