Henrietta Feist

Henrietta (Henny) Feist (nee Brack), 88, of Waldwick, NJ and formerly of Astoria, NY, died on Friday, January 7, 2022. Born in the Bronx, she lived most of her life in Astoria, NY before moving to Waldwick, NJ. She was a bookkeeper for Funk & Wagnalls in Mahwah until she retired, after 50 years of employment.

Henrietta is survived by her two loving sisters, Anna Feist of Commack, NY and Louise Wright of Waldwick, NJ, along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her favorite activities were playing cards, bingo and going to casinos to play the slots. Her best moments were spent with her loving family, which she loved to be surrounded by. Family was everything to Henny! Henrietta was predeceased by her husband Eugene.

Due to COVID, the family of Henrietta Feist plans a private viewing, mass will be held at St. Luke's Church, HoHoKus, NJ and graveside ceremony will follow at the Ascension Cemetery in Airmont, NY Henny was truly loved and will be greatly missed! She will always be in the hearts and thoughts of family and friends who loved her! As Henny would always say, “See you later alligator…..”. Until we meet again, we love you!
