Ines Frazzetto, 90, formerly of Manhattan, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January
16, 2025. Born in Sicily on July 20, 1934, Ines emigrated to the United States and initially settled
in Manhattan. She split her time with her daughters in Ho-Ho-kus and Franklin Lakes after her
husband died and then later lived in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, before spending her final months in
Franklin Lakes.
Ines was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who cherished her family above all. She
loved cooking traditional Italian meals, bringing everyone together around her table, and found
joy in her favorite soap operas, which she followed religiously.
Ines was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gaetano Frazzetto, and two daughters,
Mariella Frazzetto and Maria Frazzetto. She is survived by her two daughters, Anna Frazzetto-
Miano, married to Robert Miano, and Sandra Giuffra. She was the cherished grandmother of
Robert Anthony, Alexandra Victoria, and Isabella Emelia. Ines is also survived by her younger
sister, Irene Compagnino, and was predeceased by her brother, Salvatore DiGiorgi.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the
Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 9:45 am at Church of The
Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Interment will follow at First Calvary Cemetery in
Woodside, NY.
Ines’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her family, her passion for cooking, and her
ability to bring joy and warmth to those around her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy
will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
