Jacob "Jack" Kuiphoff

 Jacob (Jack) Kuiphoff, 100 , of North Haledon,  passed away, Monday January 13, 2025 . He is predeceased by his beloved wife Alberta (nee De Boer) Kuiphoff (1998), his second wife Doris Kuiphoff (nee Hopper) (2015) and brother Richard Kuiphoff Jr (2003)

He was a Coast Guard Veteran of WWII, serving on the USS Gen. Geo. M. Randall.   Upon his honorable discharge in 1946, Jack became an entrepreneur opening Jack's Market in Prospect Park, NJ, retiring in 1988.    He served both as Deacon and Elder of First Christian Reformed Church of Haledon, Youth Guidance Counselor in North Haledon and Deputy Sheriff of Passaic County.

Devoted father of Jack D and Cynthia Kuiphoff of New Stanton, PA, Richard J Kuiphoff of Sarasota, Fl, Janis L Buro of Holland Township, NJ  and Sharon J and Scott Kelly of Pittstown, NJ.  Loving Grandfather of Jack J and Amy Kuiphoff, Lori Kuiphoff, John Ringer, Shawna and John Mehall, Alicia and Evan Van Gilson and Briana and Lance Thatcher.  Loving Great-Grandfather of twelve,  and Dear brother of Elizabeth (nee Kuiphoff) Youngsman of Wyckoff.

Visitation will be held at Vander Plaat Funeral Home at 257 Godwin Avenue in Wyckoff, NJ  Wednesday , January 22, 2025 9am-11am.

Prayer service will start at 11 a.m. 

Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery. 

The family request that no children under 10 be in attendance of funeral services.
