Jacqueline Patricia Esmerian King passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025. She was born in Paris, France on September 12, 1929 and lived in New York City and Mount Vernon, NY before moving to Morristown, Ridgewood and Wyckoff, New Jersey.
She graduated from The Spence School in New York and Bryn Mawr College, where she studied Art History. She was predeceased by the Reverend Jonathan LeRoy King, her devoted husband of 60 years. She was committed to her family and is survived by her four children, Philip, Edward and Frederic King and Cynthia King Vance; thirteen grandchildren, Zoe, Nicola and Matthew Vance, and Madeline, Benjamin, Samuel, Analena, Ethan, Gabriel, Noah, Leilani, Nadia and Thomas King; and two great grandchildren, Vivian and Will Foster.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25th and Friday November 28th from 5PM to 7PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A service and interment are planned for December 20th at the Island Cemetery in Newport, Rhode Island.
