Obituary

James Raymond Beaudette “Jim”, a long-time resident of Wyckoff, NJ and Bradley Beach, NJ; and recent resident of Hobe Sound, Fl passed away peacefully, after a brief battle with Pancreatic Cancer, at his home on November 4, 2021 while surrounded by his wife and children. He was 75 years old. Born in Passaic, NJ to James Raymond Beaudette, Sr. “Ray” and Nella Beaudette (DeKoyer), his childhood years were spent in Rochelle Park, NJ.

Jim graduated from Hackensack High School in 1964. He married the love of his life, Jeanne Beaudette (Barry) in 1969, moved to Wyckoff, NJ where they settled and raised 3 children. Jim was a NJ entrepreneur that started a successful construction management firm, JRB Construction Management Co, at which he spent many years building homes and commercial buildings across Northern NJ. He loved coaching soccer and he spent many years coaching and volunteering with the Wyckoff Torpedoes. Jim was brave, smart, fiercely loyal, and had a profound impact on those that crossed his path. He loved to build things, solve problems, fish and read. Most of all, he loved being “Poppie” to, and spoiling, his 9 Grandchildren.

He is survived by 3 children: Kim Garvin of Owensboro, KY and her husband Steve; Michele Beaudette-O’Toole of Belmar, NJ; Jeff Beaudette of West Nyack, NY and his wife Elisa (French). He is survived by 9 Grandchildren: Riley O’Toole, Makenzie O’Toole, Abigail Garvin, Alex Garvin, Andrew Garvin, Adam Garvin, Alexandra Beaudette, Charlotte Beaudette, and James Beaudette.
