Janis F. Erdman

The world lost an amazing mom, wife and friend suddenly leaving an empty void in so many peoples hearts on June 21, 2022. Janis was born in Paterson NJ and lived in Hawthorne NJ her whole life. She worked as a court clerk for Paramus NJ for 26 years, retiring in 2012 and spent the last 5 years working as a crossing guard in Wyckoff NJ. She enjoyed motorcycles, Pow Wow's, all types of shopping and anything that involved her daughter Francy.  She was an adamant lover of American Indian jewelry/culture and Elvis Presley and her fashion.

Janis is survived by her daughter/best friend Francy Erdman along with her puppers Jack Daniel. She is preceded in death by her hubby Albert Erdman, Father Abraham Gruber, Mother Frances Van Hoorbeck. Visitation will be at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave Wyckoff Nj on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 4 to 8. A private burial will occur.
