Jesselin "Jess" Amodeo

Jesselin “Jess” Amodeo, 44, of Wyckoff, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025.  Born and raised in the Bronx, she moved to Wyckoff 23 years ago.

She was a parishioner at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Wyckoff.

She was a dedicated mother and wife whose main purpose was to support her family. She was a football and baseball mom, and never missed a family event. A selfless individual who always put everyone first. 

Jess lives through her loving husband John Sr, her sons John Jr, Joseph, and Jayden. Mother Nydia, sisters Kayleen, Stephanie, and Kendra and nieces Lynnie and Penelope.

Visiting hours are 4 – 8 on Thursday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home,  www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrating her life will be held 11:00am on Friday, at the St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
