Joan Carlone, 91, of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Born in New York, New York, on November 15, 1934, Joan was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nicholas Carlone, and her siblings, Georgiana Rocco, Ralph D’abbraccio, Michael D’abbraccio, and Mary Ann Musiello.

She is survived by her son, Nicholas and his wife, Barbara Ann; her daughter, Caroline who was predeceased by her husband Roberto Brunelli; her beloved grandsons, Robert and Nicholas; and Nicholas’s wife, Grace.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, New Jersey, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth of Hungary, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, New Jersey, on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., followed by interment at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York.
