John G McCourt

John McCourt, 90, died peacefully on January 7, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, and their four children – Brian, Maureen, Kevin and Stephen. ten grandchildren – Christina, Cathryn & Carolyn, Kelly, Christy & Mathew, Taylor & William, Ryan & Michael. And one great grandchild, Benjamin.

John grew up in the Ireland before moving to Midland Park in 1960. During the 1950’s John played professional soccer for Dundalk FC and once moved to Midland Park, John worked at Midland Park Lumber since arriving in America from Ireland in 1960 and retired in 1992.

John loved to read and watch soccer games, also enjoyed watching his kids and grandchildren play various sports.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
