John " Jack" Witham

John “Jack “Witham passed away on Tuesday May 26,2026. Born in Plainfield, NJ to

John and Elaine (Jensen) Withum, Jack spent most of his life in New Jersey, with several memorable years in New York City.

 A gifted performer, Jack attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy as a scholarship student. Following his graduation, He met his wife Beth Fowler while preforming in the Broadway musical “1600 Pennsylvania Avenue”. His theatrical career included numerous plays and stage productions performed across the country.

A proud veteran, Jack honorably served in the U.S. Army as a Private First Class during the Vietnam War.

Cherished husband of Elizabeth (Fowler) Witham. Dear brother of Robert Withum of Pensacola FL. and his family and their cousins.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday May 29,2026 4pm -7pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass is planned for Saturday May 30,2026 10am at St. Paul’s R. C. Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave. Ramsey, NJ 07446.

Interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah,NJ
