Joseph Turchiano

Joseph Michael Turchiano (Turch), 63, of Waldwick, NJ died peacefully at home on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Born in Ridgewood, NJ and raised in Waldwick, NJ, Joseph was a service technician for over 25 years and most recently a team member at Home Depot in Paramus, NJ . He was also a proud Cleveland Browns and Seton Hall Prep football fan!

Joe was a selfless, kind and gentle soul.  He took time to move in and care for his father until he passed away.  Joe was a friend to many people and lived his life to help others.  He was a pleasure to be around, had a wonderful sense of humor and was liked by all who came to know him.  Joe maintained a meticulous lifestyle and liked things to be in order.  He had a tireless work ethic, enjoyed interacting with his colleagues and was very well respected by his peers. 

A devout family man, he is survived by his siblings: Maria Monturi of Midland Park, Pauline Turchiano of Eugene, OR, and Greg Turchiano and his wife Krista of Whippany, NJ. Joseph will also be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, Alyssa and Glen Monturi and Isabella, Matthew and Patrick Turchiano.  The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 1-4pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Fund, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
