Josephine Martin

Josephine Anne “Nancy” Martin, born August 16, 1945, in Washington Heights NY, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025  in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, at the age of 80.

A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Nancy is survived by her loving brother James Conway; her sons John Martin and Jerry Martin; her daughters-in-law Stephanie Martin and Amy Chadwick; and her cherished grandchildren Norah Martin, Sean Martin, Ryan Martin, and Nate Chadwick-Martin.

Nancy built a remarkable career in real estate, dedicating over 40 years to helping families find their homes- most notably through her work with Weichert Realtors.  Her professionalism, persistence, and deep understanding of people made her a respected figure in her field and a mentor to many.

A devout Catholic, Nancy’s faith was a constant throughout her life.  It shaped her values and guided her compassion for others.  Her fierce determination, quick wit, warm personality, and sincere care for those around her left a lasting impression for everyone who knew her.

Nancy will be remembered for her strength, her humor, and her unwavering love for her family.

A wake will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4-8pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff NJ.

A funeral service will be held at the Church of the Presentation located at 271 West Saddle River Road in Upper Saddle River NJ at 11:15am on Saturday October 18th.

In lieu of flowers donations are encouraged to be given to the Oasis Women’s Shelter of Paterson NJ.
