Josephine Scanlon

Josephine “Jo” Scanlon, 87, of Paramus, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.  Born in Queens, NY, she lived in Old Beth Page, Long Island before moving to Paramus over 50 years ago.

Jo was an administrative assistant for Hudson City Savings Bank in Paramus until she retired.

She is survived by her loving daughters  Kathleen and her husband Fred Haitz, Kristen and her husband Martin Fessele and Doreen and her husband Peter Downing, her 5 grandchildren Jennifer (Michael) Casas, Kaitlyn (Kenneth) O’Donohue, Abigail Fessele, Samantha West, and Kyle West and her 6 great grandchildren: Tyler, Landyn, Natalie, MacKenzie, Trinity and Daneen.   

She is also survived by her sister Florence and sister-in-law Bea.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Richard in 1985, her brother John and her parents Michael and Rose
