Judith Ann Campbell, 79, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.
She was born on May 2, 1945, at Passaic General Hospital to Sarah Charlesworth and Benjamin Koenig and grew up in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. For the past ten years, she made her home in Toms River, where she enjoyed a retirement lifestyle with her beloved and doting husband, Jack, to whom she was married for 58 years.
Judith worked for many years at Kaukstein's Silk Mill in Paterson and Mosler's Pneumatic Tube Systems in Wayne, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She also volunteered her time at a local thrift shop, where she was beloved for her compassion and commitment to helping others.
A good friend and beloved neighbor, Judith was always ready to share a kind word. She had a special way of making people feel valued and loved, and her friendships spanned the years, touching the lives of many. Judith was a cherished friend to all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her devoted husband, John Andrew Campbell; her beloved son, Kevin Benjamin Campbell, and his wife, Wendy Campbell; her adored granddaughters, Kate Campbell and Kelly Campbell, who brought her endless pride and joy; her dear sister-in-law, Shirley Koenig; her niece, Stacy Giardino, and Stacy’s husband, Paul; her nephew, Michael Koenig, and his wife, Katie; as well as other extended family members and close friends who will miss her deeply.
She was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Robert Koenig, and her parents, Sarah Charlesworth and Benjamin Koenig, whose memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff on Tuesday, April 22nd, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
