Judith Hagen

Judith "Judy" Hagen (nee Roland), age 78, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.  A lifelong resident of Dumont, New Jersey, Judy’s warmth, humor and strength left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Thomas A. Hagen Jr.; her cherished daughters Alison Ryan and Carolyn Hagen; her beloved granddaughter Abigail Ryan; and her loving siblings Linda Stibick (nee Roland) and Richard Roland.

Judy graduated magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University and built a successful career at Mutual of New York (MONY).  Beyond her professional accomplishments, she found joy in the little pleasures of life - curating her treasured doll collection, trying her luck at the casino, getting lost in a good book, and Keeping a sharp eye on the markets via CNBC.

Her life was a testament to the beauty of everyday moments - her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ.
