Kathleen Farrell Obituary

Kathleen Farrell (née Del Vecchio) of Midland Park, New Jersey, was born on August 21,
1950, and passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on January 26, 2026.

Kathleen was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by
love, resilience, and quiet strength. In her early years of motherhood, she courageously raised
three young children on her own, working tirelessly and making countless sacrifices to provide
them with a stable, loving home and a strong foundation for life. Later in life, she welcomed her
youngest son, completing the family she cherished so deeply. To all of her children, Kathleen
gave unwavering love, pride, and devotion throughout her life.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Joe Farrell; her four children, Nancy Warner and her husband Larry Olsen,
Ralph Warner and his wife Nicky , Michelle Jamison, and Sean Farrell; her cherished grandchildren, Chloe Olsen,
Sage Olsen, Kelsey Jamison, Nora Jamison, Ralph Warner, Anthony Warner, and Trish Warner;
and her beloved great-grandsons, Aiden and Brandon Jamison. She is also survived by her
cherished sister, Nancy Del Vecchio; her brother, Frank Del Vecchio Jr., his wife Jennifer, and
their children, Alec, Tess, and Cole Del Vecchio.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ruth Del Vecchio, and her
brother, Ralph Del Vecchio, and son-in-law Jason Jamison all of Midland Park.

Family was the center of Kathleen’s world. She loved nothing more than having everyone
together, especially around the table. An amazing cook, she delighted in finding new recipes,
shopping for ingredients, and preparing meals that brought people close. Her home was a place
of warmth, food, and connection.

A hardworking and independent woman, Kathleen spent decades as a salon owner and
hairdresser, later ran her own PartyLite business, and most recently worked as a real estate agent
– approaching each chapter with dedication and heart. She also treasured her lifelong friendships
and especially enjoyed gathering regularly with friends to play Mahjong.

Kathleen will be remembered for her strength, generosity, loyalty, and the many quiet sacrifices
she made out of love.

A Memorial Service will be held at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff, N.J., on Saturday,
