Kevin Michael Danlasky, 65, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, with family by his side.
Born on October 18, 1960, Kevin was a lifelong New Jersey resident, a graduate of Pascack Valley High School in Hillsdale and then went on to receive his bachelor's degree from Montclair State University.
Kevin was a proud retired Boilermaker and member of Boilermaker's Local 28, following in the footsteps of his father, and continuing a family tradition. The trade reflected his strength, skill, and dedication to hard work. He valued the camaraderie and brotherhood that came with the trade and carried those values throughout his life.
Family meant everything to Kevin. He had a big presence and an even bigger heart. Family moments were filled with humor, honesty, and unwavering devotion. Kevin shared a particularly special bond with his nephew, Benji, with whom he shared countless meaningful moments.
Kevin also cherished the friendships he formed in his childhood, many of which spanned more than sixty years, beginning in kindergarten and continuing through high school and beyond. These friendships remained meaningful throughout his life. His unmistakable personality, sharp wit and ability to make people laugh helped create special lifelong bonds. The countless memories, inside jokes, and endless laughter were among the moments he treasured most.
Kevin was a devoted sports fan and loyal supporter of the New York Giants and New York Yankees.
Kevin faced significant health challenges in recent years with courage and determination. Through it all, he embraced each day with the strength and personality that defined him.
Kevin is survived by his loving mother, Madeline Danlasky; his sister, Stacy Danlasky; and his nephew, Benjamin Danlasky. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Danlasky, and his son, Ryan Danlasky.
A wake will be held at St. Elizabeth's Church in Wyckoff on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 9:45 AM, immediately followed by a Funeral Mass.
Kevin will be laid to rest privately.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
